As President Mammadu Buhari is anticipated to arrive in the state for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally, the historic town of Yola in Adamawa is bustling with activity.

Mr. Buhari is scheduled to arrive at the Yola International Airport for the ceremony on Monday at 10.30 a.m., according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Following the strategic placement of security officers both inside and outside the event’s venue, Mahmud Ribadu Square, adequate security measures had been implemented.

After greeting Barkindo Mustapha, the supreme ruler of the state and Lamido Adamawa, the president is anticipated to proceed to the meeting’s location.

Politicians and well-wishers, particularly APC supporters, have reportedly been mobilized in advance of the august visitor’s arrival, according to NAN.

The state APC chairman, Samaila Tadawus, expressed confidence that the president’s arrival would improve the party’s chances of winning elections and said that Mr. Buhari’s presence would unquestionably benefit the party’s candidates.

Tadawus predicted that the party would win all upcoming elections, particularly the state governorship battle in which Aishatu Binani, a female candidate, is running.
