Tuesday will mark the official opening of the Lagos Blue Rail Line’s 13-kilometer first segment by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Blue Line, which will link Okokomaiko and Marina, is anticipated to be 27 kilometers long.
According to a letter of invitation obtained to PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday, the event would take place at the Marina Train Station in the state’s Outer Marina area.
According to the letter, “This unique event is suggested to invite President Muhammad Buhari GCFR, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, the Minister of Transportation Mu’azu Sambo, and the Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Cui Jianchun.”
“We think that having you here will boost our motivation and enthusiasm to finish this event successfully.”
The elevated train network will run along the state’s Mile-2 axis between Marina and Mile-2.
