The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, or IPMAN, has mandated that all operations be halted nationally for all of its members.

This was reportedly said in a statement released on Tuesday and signed by IPMAN Chairman Mohammed Kuluwu.

He attributed the problem to “the severe scenario as it affects our product sourcing and loss-making sales, as well as the government’s move to force the loss-making sales of gasoline product on our side.”

According to our source, the nation’s capital’s gas stations aren’t distributing fuel, which leaves black marketeers hanging around.

Despite government efforts to solve the issue, there is still a fuel shortage in Nigeria.
