Pastor Uche Aigbe, the senior pastor of House on The Rock in Abuja, has been apprehended by the police for bringing an AK-47 to the pulpit.

Aigbe was taken into custody by the Force Intelligence Bureau’s (FIB) Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

After a video became viral on social media, the police started an inquiry.

On Sunday, the cleric is shown giving a sermon while toting a gun on his left shoulder.

It was reported that an inspector named Musa Audu gave Aigbe his service firearm. The cop will stand trial in a quiet room.

Sadiq Abubakar, the Federal Capital Territory Command’s commissioner of police, wants Audu fired for the misbehavior.

The CP has officially recommended Usman Baba, the police inspector general.

According to reports, the Nigerian security agency is expected to provide an update on the matter.
