In several areas of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, the polls for the National Assembly and the President are nearly concluded.

DAILY POST noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officers abruptly ended the voting process in various polling places at around 2:30 pm.

In the city’s Wuse neighborhood, where sorting and counting are in progress, our correspondent stopped by a few polling places.

Around 490 voters were registered at the voting location, 014 Wuse Zone 6/Wuse 111 Primary School, but only 150 were able to cast ballots.

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, appeared to be in the lead in several voting locations where counting started early.
