Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, is now in the lead in Plateau State.
The Barkin Ladi LGA Returning Officer, Prof. Noel Wonnang, announced the results and noted that the election was peaceful and without incident.
According to Wonnang, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC received 12,514 votes, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP received 9,073, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party received 32,489 votes.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party received 15,171 votes in Riyom LGA, beating over Atiku, who received 8,181 votes, who was his closest rival.
Whereas Tinubu, the APC candidate, received 6, 936 votes.
Atiku Abubakar received 7,211 votes in Mikang LGA, defeating Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who was his closest rival.
