Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, won 111,940 votes in Ekiti to defeat Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

201 494 votes were cast for Tinubu, who received 89 554 votes.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, received 11,397 votes, while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate received only 264.

The first result to be made public at the National Collation Center in Abuja is the one from the state of Ekiti.

The results were made public on Sunday night in Abuja by Prof. Ayobami Salami, the residential collation officer for the state of Ekiti.
