Candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Uba Sani
has been named the victor of the Kaduna State governor election.
Dr Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, INEC’s Kaduna State Returning Officer, delivered the statement on Monday night.
According to him, Sani received 730,002 votes to defeat Isa Ashiru of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 719,196 votes, by a significant margin.
Jonathan Asake of the Labour Party (LP) received 58,283 votes, while Suleiman Hunkuyi of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) received 21,405 votes.
