Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress is the only presidential contender with the ability to advance Nigeria, according to Cross River State Governor Prof. Ben Ayade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was spoken by the governor, who is running for senator from Cross River North under the APC, in Ogoja over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ayade had earlier asserted that Southern Cross River should produce the next governor during a meeting with stakeholders before traveling to the Ogoja Township stadium for a rally. He added that anything to the contrary would be unfair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thousands of supporters of the governor and other party candidates in the state, including its gubernatorial candidate, Senator Bassey Otu, House of Representatives candidate, struggled to be contained by security personnel at the stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at the event, Ayade asked the crowd to support the APC in order to be recognized for his work in Ogoja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI built the first Vitaminized Rice Mill in Ogoja. For the first time, a state polytechnic is coming to Ogoja. For the first time, Ogoja has four commissioners. Ogoja is my home,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He claimed that Tinubu and Otu had to be elected president and governor, respectively, since justice, equity, competence, and the ability to perform necessitated it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTinubu can fix Nigeria. Tinubu comes with experience, he is an experiential architect with eyes-on and hands-on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe is a man who has got capacity; he has been invited at this time to do all he can to see to the growth of Nigeria. I, therefore, ask every person here to vote for Tinubu and also ask everyone here to please, tell every Nigerian to vote for Tinubu. It is the turn of Southern Nigeria to produce a president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNigeria must remain one and the indivisibility of Nigeria is based on the principle of justice. It is also based on that sense of justice that I ask you to vote Distinguished Senator (Prince Otu) as the next Governor of Cross River state. It is the turn of Southern Cross River to produce governor, North and central having produced theirs. Prince Otu has the capacity, he has the intellect, he has integrity, he has content, he has every single element that qualifies one to be governor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
